This series is all the talk in our family right now, however I haven't even gotten my hands on it yet.  The third and final book doesn't come out till next month, so I'm going to wait till I can get them at one time, so I don't have to be patient and wait ;)

Vanishing Acts: Jodi Picoult

Good book, kind of controversial. Easy to read and entertaining. I think Beth has already read it so you'll have to help with a cast. It is basically about a young girl who was kidnapped by her father, who was just trying to protect her from her alcoholic mother. She finds this out 28 years later and tries to fit missing pieces together to find out who she is.

I would cast Delia/Bethany as Liv Tyler and her Dad as Harrison Ford.

Jubilee Trail: Gwen Bristow

This book is very low key, and the characters are very interesting and normal at the same time. It is basically about a city girl who crosses America in a wagon train. It has been a while since I read the book, but I plan on re-reading it again after I finish Gone To Soldiers.

I would cast Heather Locklear as Florinda. (FYI: this is not the main character, so if you start reading it and get a good idea for one, let me know so I can put that in my head before I read this again.)

I enjoyed this book, the theology was a little too deep for me, but I enjoyed it none the less.

I don't want to cast the book for 2 reasons, it would detract from the theology and there are not a lot of characters to make it necessary.
